INFO FOR EVERYONE

 

Friday                     B’fast:  Pizza Stick, B’fast Sandwich & Hashbrown, French Toast, Yogurt and B’fast Bar, or Cereal and String Cheese, must take fruit choice or milk or both.  LUNCH:  Breaded Chicken Sandwich, lettuce or pickle cup, oven potatoes; OR Baked Chicken.  oven potatoes, cheesy corn muffin OR salad with crackers or deli sandwich with chips served every day.  Choice of:  Slushie, apples, fruit cup, bananas, milk, juice, small green salad.

 

B/S’ball                  Please excuse Baseball and Softball players at 1 pm for their double header against Greenville here at home today, starting at 2:00 pm.

 

DONATIONS         If you wish to make a donation for the Aguirre family, collections will be at the front office.

 

                                Fundraiser Dinner to benefit the Aguirre family:  $8 Adults, $5 children; Spaghetti dinner, salad, bread and drink, plus dessert.  Elementary cafeteria on March 17th from 5:30-8:30 pm.

 

                                Recycling:  There will be recycling bins by the office, by Mrs. Hansen’s room, and in the Multi for all your empty soda cans, to help us raise money for the Aguirre family. 

 

Battle of the Sexes              Time once again for our annual BATTLE OF THE SEXES!!!!  Dress up days are:   Friday – Girls/Pink, Boys/Blue.

 

Fundraiser            New Fundraiser for HEATHER JACKSON, who can’t come home until the new room is built on the house;  Bracelets on sale for $3 each, available in black or yellow.  See Emily Jackson.  Thank you for your support.

 

Minutes to Midnight             Prom is almost here!  March 20th, 9 pm to Midnight  in the Ballroom at Gold Country Casino.  Tickets are now up to $30 single and $45 couple.  At the door, $35 single and $50 couple, so DON’T WAIT!  Find Karen or Iliana during Brunch and get your tickets!!

 

Juniors                  If you are planning to go to a 4-year college after high school, it is time to make some planning steps RIGHT NOW.  You need to take early ACT or SAT tests and fee waivers must be requested early.  See Georgianne or Mrs. O’Brien TODAY.

 

JUNIORS              If you are planning to go to a 4-year college after high school you SHOULD TAKE the SAT or ACT TEST as a JUNIOR!   The DEADLINE to register ON LINE for the test is March 25th for the May 1st SAT Test; April 29th for the June 5 SAT Test; and May 7th for the June 12 ACT Test.   IF you think you qualify for an SAT or and ACT test fee waiver, please see Mrs. O'Brien or Ms. Merlo.  Don't procrastinate ...GET REGISTERED NOW!!!

 

JUNIORS              Starting this year, the Elks Scholarship now REQUIRES taking the SAT or ACT test as a JUNIOR.  In previous years, we have had numerous seniors EACH YEAR receive Elks Scholarships!  It is possible to win as much as $5,000!  If you want an opportunity to receive Elks scholarship money for college, apply for the SAT or ACT test NOW!!

 

Senior Stuff

 

Senior Trip            Just a Reminder – you must be on track for graduation to go on the trip.  That means you can not have failed a class 1st semester, or be failing a class this semester, or need to make up classes from prior years.  You must be passing.  Questions???  See Ms. Charley.  Also, no more than 2 referrals; 3rd referral means no trip!

 

Sober Grad Parents  We will be meeting at Buckshot Grill at  6:30 pm on Tuesday, March 16th.
