Welcome to Richvale Elementary School!

Richvale Elementary School is a small school in a rural, rice farming community. It has approximately 35 students in 1st – 6th grades and is located in Richvale California. The elementary school is the center of the community and has been providing quality education for over 50 years. It has been the starting place for many elected politicians and their families.

The Richvale teaching staff includes two teachers who teach 3 grades each. Our teachers take extreme pride in all they do and have high expectations for student success in all areas. Three wonderful classroom aides also support students under the direction of the teachers. Together they make an outstanding team of professionals.

Our Richvale Parents Association is extremely involved in the school and holds one of the best annual fundraising events in the area. Because of the parent and community commitment to the school, the students at Richvale Elementary get additional experiences many schools can't provide. Richvale Elementary qualified as a California State Distinguished School applicant due to high test scores for an extended period of time.

Our Classes

Two experienced teachers provide class room instruction at Richvale. Ms. Brown teaches a combination class of grades 1-3, and Mrs. Jones teaches a combination class of grades 4-6. Each teacher has specialties and brings a wealth of talent and skill to the classroom, individually, as well as collectively, to benefit the entire school. Fine arts, science, social sciences, and technology are some of the areas in which our teachers excel. Their commitment to academic excellence and to a child's welfare is apparent in everything they do.

In adition, we have three highly experienced instructional aides: Lynnel Job, Lorna Bishop and Courtney Marquez.

Parents & Community

Parent and community involvement are another invaluable part of Richvale Elementary School's success. Parents have committed their time and efforts in supporting the school. They work closely with the teachers and administration to enrich the educational experience for the students. Release Hour is available at the neighborhood community church facility.
