Hi! I'm a teacher (Computer Awareness, Drafting, CAD, and Web Design) at Biggs High School
(in Northern California). I'm a graduate from
Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, CA, from the Natural Resource Management
Department, with a teaching credential in Ag. and
Industrial Arts. I teach my students about Web pages in the Web Design class.
You can see some samples of their work in the Biggs
School District Pages.
One of my favorite places in California is Sawtooth
Peak. This 13,000 ft.
elev. mountain is in the Mineral King Wilderness Area of Sequoia National Park
(in the southern end of the Sierras). I've hiked it several times. You get a
fantastic view looking north into Sequoia/King's Canyon National Parks; toward
the east is Mount Whitney; toward the south is the Tehachapi range (the start
of Southern California); and looking west you see into the Coast Range and all
over the Central Valley (when it's clear). (Click on the pic
for a slightly larger view).
The left side of the image is looking north. The darkest sky
and clouds are to the east, over Mt.
Whitney. The south is at
the right. I lost a couple of the western photos.
Here's a friend,
Aaron, my son, John, and me at Sugar Bowl.
