Biggs Community Day School is located in Butte County, CA. The Community Day School Program provides educational services for students who are expelled from the regular program, have been referred through the State Attendance and Review Board (SARB) process, or who have been referred through the justice system or other district referral process. We provide highly individualized instruction in a small school setting. Each classroom is limited to ten students and is staffed with one credentialed teacher and one classroom aide. The Community Day School program is a place for students to earn credits while receiving one-on-one instruction from a teacher who knows the student’s strengths and weaknesses.
We at Biggs Community Day School pride ourselves in providing opportunities for success for each student we teach. The students finding success in our program are often the students who have not experienced success in other schools. These students often have educational needs that differ from the average learner, but also have unique qualities that make them incredibly valuable members of society.
