We are fortunate here at Biggs high school to be implementing the Data Director Program this school year, by collecting and using student data we hope to improve the number of students who are testing at the proficient and advanced
Scores are represented on a class level
Biology
This Chart represents our Chapter one test it looks like about fifty percent of the students are proficient

Sadly, our students in their second test are by far performing below state expectations, I intend to continue reviewing the standards introduced in this test over the next few months in order to improve performance

Compared to the last test we are seeing progress, nearly all of the students who tested below basic have moved up to basic, nearly all of the basic students have moved up to proficient and look, 7 advanced! And do not forget, this test was much more challenging than the previous exams

again the majority of students are testing proficient and above, but we are not really seeing any improvement in the basic and below students
Chemistry

This Chart represents our Chapters one and two exam, most students are testing at proficient, we will attempt to pull up the under performing students in the next exam

Yea! this chart shows much progress, students are moving from proficient to advanced and from basic to proficient! I wish they all looked so promising..

Well, I am just as proud as can be of the Chemistry class, they are absolutely all 100% at proficient and above now I guess we can start increasing the number of advanced students! WOW!!
Earth Science

This Chart (above) represents our first chapter exam, students rated 50:50
Below we see students who scored proficient in the first exam now scoring basic, we will continue to review the concepts covered in this exam


In this Earth Science exam we see students doing a much better job, it looks as if most of the below basic students have moved up to basic and that the basic kids have moved up to proficient, sadly there are still no students scoring at the advanced level.
AP Biology

Chapter 1-5 Exam (this was a very large exam) students have divided into two groups those who have been keeping up and those who have not, it will be interesting to see the next exam.
The cell test in AP Biology, students did not do as well as I had hoped but it is a tough body of information
