Position: Extra Duty Saturday School Teacher - Biggs High School (Grades 9-12)

Salary: $27.30 hour. Position does not include benefits.

Schedule To start as soon as possible. This is an hourly supervision position of 4 hours every-other Saturday for four months (February, March, April, May).

Minimum Qualifications:

1. CREDENTIAL: Appropriate credential as prescribed by law with CLAD. Must be NCLB (No Child Left Behind) compliant.

2. PERSONAL QUALITIES: Maintain a professional appearance; meet District standards for physical and mental health; demonstrate enthusiasm for assignment and willingness to participate in supervision of extra-curricular activities; demonstrate ability to maintain cooperative relations with others.

3. PROFESSIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS: Better than average recommendations from student teaching supervisors and other professionals who have observed and evaluated personal characteristics and scholastic attainment.

4. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Ability To:

1. Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Position Description:

To provide supervision for individuals in the high school grades who have either or both truant and disciplinary issues.
